Our Library aims to provide a friendly, welcoming and comfortable place for the school community to satisfy the demands of information, reading and technology in school. We have over 20,000 titles in our collection including printed and electronic books, magazines, globes, and kits. We have book titles in English, Spanish, and Korean. The library also subscribes to various online databases (EBSCO, Worldbook Online, Tumble Books, Flipster Digital Magazines) to support the reading and research needs of its students. Access details to these databases can be found on the library’s intranet site: https://sites.google.com/a/
Chromebooks and iPads are also available at the library for student and teacher use.
Our Librarian works in collaboration with all teachers, students and parents. Additionally, the Librarian provides weekly library skills /information literacy classes for PreKinder to Grade 4 and collaboration with all teachers for library and research skills classes.
As a central hub on campus the library hosts special events such as : Book Week, Dr. Seuss’ Day, World Book Day and Copyright Day. Additionally, parent workshops are held in the space.
Library services are supported by two assistants who work closely with the Librarian and teachers.
